Terms and Conditions
By booking any My
Deliciously Healthy Kitchen Cookery Class you agree to abide by our terms and
conditions. We reserve the right to make minor amendments to the Cookery Class
content and prices without notice.
What's included?
Ingredients, utensils,
knives, equipment and aprons are provided for all classes.
Application
requirements
You must be 18 years or
over to attend all our cookery classes, unless the class description states
otherwise.
Health
& Safety
Cooking requires the use
of heat and sharp utensils so there is inevitably a risk of accidents. To minimize
risk, all participants should wear shoes with non-slip soles and covered toes.
We recommend wearing sensible clothing i.e. not your best outfit - we are not
liable for any damage that occurs to clothing. Long hair should be tied back in
the kitchen. And hands should be washed before, during and after cooking. All
class participants will receive a short briefing on health and safety before
commencing the class.
We accept no liability
for personal injury, or any loss of, or damage to personal property. We
have a strictly no smoking policy.
Participants
Health
If you are due to attend
a cookery class and are unwell, or have visited your GP within 48 hours, you
must contact us 24 hours prior to your class to discuss your attendance. We
reserve the right to refuse admission to any participant who may be at risk of
passing infection to other delegates.
Conduct
We reserve the right to
ask any student to leave without reimbursement of fees if their behaviour
is unsafe or unreasonable in any way.
Special
dietary requirements, food allergies & illness
We are unable to tailor
our class content for special dietary requirements unless you are booking the
whole class of 10 places. However, we will be happy to discuss class content
beforehand. There are no reductions in fees in the instance that you do not
wish to consume the meal provided.
We use a large number of
nuts, eggs and fish in our general cooking and in the classes. This location is
not suitable for people who suffer serious allergies to these products unless
otherwise stated in the class description. Please also note that the kitchen is
not a gluten or nut free environment unless otherwise stated in the class
description and as such may not be unsuitable for people with sever gluten or
nut allergies.
Please inform us at least
2 weeks in advance of any allergies, disabilities, diabetes, pregnancy,
epilepsy, learning difficulties etc.
Payment
All Classes: All payments should be made in full at the time of
booking for the cookery class. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot
confirm your place in a class until we receive full payment.
We accept MasterCard/Visa
Credit Cards and Switch/Solo/Maestro Cards via our secure booking system on
Eventbrite.
Gift
Vouchers
. Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of
purchase.
. You will not be charged any extra if the price of a
class has increased since the time the Gift Voucher was bought.
. Gift Vouchers can be transferred. Someone other than
the person who was the original recipient can use them.
. To book a class using a Gift Voucher, you are required
to telephone My Deliciously Healthy Kitchen on 07730 882 033 or email emshealthykitch@gmail.com
. After making a booking using a Gift Voucher, the
actual voucher must be returned to My Deliciously Healthy Kitchen within four
days of making the booking. If it not returned within that time, the booking
will be cancelled.
. Once issued, Gift Vouchers are your responsibility.
They do not have a cash value.
. If you lose a Gift Voucher, it cannot be
replaced.
. We cannot redeem lost Gift Vouchers.
Cookery
classes
. In booking a cookery class, you are booking for one
individual day at the time and date specified and, once booked, you are
not able to change the date and time of this course unless we receive 21 days
notice prior to the date of your class. There are no exceptions to this.
. An administration fee of £20 will be charged to change
all cookery class bookings.
. All cookery classes are non-refundable.
. If you find you are unable to attend a cookery class,
you are welcome to send someone in your place, even at very short notice.
However, you must notify us in advance if you wish to do this.
. If you book into a class using a Gift Voucher, you
will be required to return the Voucher to My Deliciously Healthy Kitchen within
four working days of the booking being made. Failure to do so will result in
your booking being cancelled.
. We reserve the right to change the content on
any class without prior notification or consultation.
. In the event of a class being cancelled by My
Deliciously Healthy Kitchen, you will receive a space in another class. Where a
voucher was used to book a class that was cancelled by My Deliciously Healthy
Kitchen, we will issue a replacement voucher with 6 months expiry.
Cancellation
policy
.
75% refund for any
cancellations between 60 and 30 days before the class date.
.
50% refund to any
cancellations between 30 days and 1 week before the class date.
.
Cancellations made less
than one week before hand results in no refund being available.
.
In the event of unforeseen
circumstances then your place will be reinstated at a later date convenient to
you, regrettably no 100% refunds unless the cancellation date is prior to 60
day cancellation fee.
Voucher bookings
If for any reason you
need to cancel your booking we are quite happy to find you a place on the
nearest available class - however you must rebook no later than 21 days before
the class starts. This option to rebook applies only once; a second
cancellation at any time will result in forfeiture of the total voucher cost.
Cancellations within 21 days of the class date will result in forfeiture of the
total voucher cost.
Cancellations by My
Deliciously Healthy Kitchen
In the unlikely event of
cancellation by ourselves, we undertake to provide a suitable alternative
within a reasonable period of time. If this is not possible, we undertake to
make an immediate full refund for class fees. Where a voucher was used to book
a class, which was cancelled by My Deliciously Healthy Kitchen, we will issue a
replacement voucher with 6 months expiry.
Severe Winter Weather
In the event of forecast
or actual bad weather, please contact us 24 hours in advance of the class date
to ensure that the course will proceed. We reserve the right to cancel a class
due to bad weather if conditions are deemed dangerous to travel. In the event
of such cancellation, by ourselves, our standard cancellation terms will apply.
Delivery
of Cookery Classes & Gift Vouchers
Upon successful
completion of an order with us you will receive confirmation of your order by
email, to your nominated email address. You will also receive the vouchers(s) by
post and any supporting items relating to your order. We aim to send these out
by Royal Mail first class post on the next business day.
